Don't Microwave the disk... Unless you want this to happen to your disk. I think the hot water idea would be best, but you would have to makes sure that the sticker is the only thing to touch the water. The disk might be damaged by warm water or heat from a hair dryer.

Naa, probably used a microwave. =P I would have preferred to just use a little bit of margarine on the area and remove the sticker. Always works fine for me, and my disks still work nicely.
