It's really easy to get up to 5 stars early on as it only takes 3 or 4 prefers to do it. The more prefers you get, the harder it is to drop below that 5 star rating. Basically, as long as you're not a jerk online, you will probably get up to 5 stars pretty quickly.sophospeareAlso depends on which games you play........games like call of duty , many people leave feedback .......well anything team based .

Good point...I started Live by playing Gears.
The Rep system is broken and anyone who plays more than 5 matches in a multiplayer game will be at 5 stars and never dropped.
The rep system works as a negative = -1,noreview= +1, and a positive = +2. Since I assume 95% of the gaming community doesn't bother with it that's a lot of +1s in those 16 people big team battles in Halo.
Even the most annoying, rude, and down right racist players all run around with 5 stars.
You'll be at 5 stars soon enough but it's a pointless system so don't get to excited once you are.
