how do u play ur games?

Actually if the game is really good I might play through again on a harder difficulty but 90% of the time I don't.

I was really just generalizing for some of the screaming kids I hear on live bragging about their gamerscores to their dorky friends. Sorry, wasn't my intent to bash the entire achievement loving community, just the losery, virginy ones....

I normally play through on normal first then if i can be bothered i may try the harder difficulties but normally i don't because i have become a dabbler once i play though the story mode once i will either go on the multiplayer and forget about the singleplayer or i will go back to other games which i never got round to completing .

I have about 30 games and i can honestly say i have hardly completed any not even on normal nevermind second play throughs on harder difficulties im just not playing video games as much anymore and im buying more games than ever last gen on the PS2 i would normally play through every game at least twice once on normal and then on a harder difficulty but now i just never get round to finishing games.

I play on normal first in most games. I wouldnt enjoy the game in my first playthrough on harder settings.killerfist

oh, what difficulty? easy, of course.

and i like achievements. seriously, would you really want to play a new game if xbox stopped achievments?
there would be no goal or purpose in life :shock:

but im not oprah's book club, so i have no opinion in what to read.

i play on medium/regular

achievements are just meh.... a number, no point to them

I play them upside down with my feet clamped to the ceiling on the most difficult setting.

do u start out games on normal, easy or hard mode? I know i usually start on normal unless its like COD which i stick on veteran right away. What mode does everyone else start on?DarkHandlez

i usually start on the normal setting.

I like to enjoy my games. So I usually try to avoid the harder difficulties and play on normal. Trying the same mission or whatever over and over again simply because of the increased difficulty is a waste of time IMO.

The only time I do play on the harder difficulties is only after I finished the game and know what to expect(Bioshock) or when my character is too strong to play on normal anymore (Mass Effect)

I start most games on normal and see how it goes. If I find it too easy after a few hours I may restart at a harder difficulty.

I like my games to be a bit challenging, but not screaming at the TV, pulling my hair out, and throwing the controller across the room in frustration hard :D
