how do you feal that halo 3 recon turned out to be its own game

i am disiapointed now, i was realy hopeing this was an expanshion for the single player campain in halo 3, i was hopeing the greatmind was going to be a boss :(

i dont know if i will even get halo 3 recon now tha i heard its its own game

Wow you honestly believe that Microsoft was holding Bungie back? Why would they want to hold down their franchise series? News flash Bungie made the game not Microsoft, they just provided the bank. This game will be little different from what we have seen already, play almost they same except maybe not as superhuman like otherwise it plays the same.

As for the game I wish it was downloadable, don't care that its it own game and I have seriously lost almost all interest in this game.

I don't see how anyone could be disappointed with this.

• New campaign
• Four player co-op
• New maps
• Full set of new achievements

It makes sense to me that it wouldn't be DLC. We're talking about essentially a new game, not a patch or expansion. And personally I prefer to have a physical copy of my games anyway.

cause the game is probably 6-8 gigs and most 360 owners have a 20 gig hardrive(really only 13 gigs).

i think the new story and character is a great way to do something new with the halo franchise... i'm going to get it

I'm glad it's a full game. More Halo is more gooder. :)

The only thing I'm disappointed in is that we have to wait a full year.

Im excited for this game either way. Its just all around good for the halo fanbase to play the series from another prospective. Sure masterchief kicked ass, but we played as him for 6 years now and its about time to give the ODST some attention.

4 player co-op sounds like a change of pace for the series. It'll be a great addition to halo 3 multiplayer.

obviously the game is too big to download. It's more of a hybride of a stand-alone game and an expansion. All I know is it's not going to be like the shivering islands with just different environments they will have to change the gameplay for the UNSC soldiers because they don't have shields.

Stop baggin on the guy because he has a different opinion. Maybe what he was trying to get across is that microsoft could have hindered bungies creativity by making the campaing shorter to make it more appealing to more people. Did you think of that?
