Who says there's no such thing as a dumb question? You DON'T. But... you might be able to get a fraction of what you paid for if you resell it on eBay, Craigslist, or GameStop.

You can't just get your money back on anything just because you dislike it. The best thing you can do with out being a douche bag and breaking the law is selling stuff you don't like.

Money back on a game you rented just because you dont like it? you are kidding right?

As far as I know it is illigal in the US for stores to refund on games (copyright laws)

In AU you can purchase your games from EB with their 7 day guarantee, in which case you could get your money back for a game you paid cash for if you decided you didn't like it. I don't know if they offer this same service in the US, but maybe they do? Otherwise no store will give you money back simply because you "didn't like it", and especially not if you rent a game, lol. Though if you happen to have local independant video store and are friendly with the staff you might get lucky when renting things, other than that, good luck, hehe.

Not in the US if its opened because they have no way of knowing whether or not you've illegally copied the game
