How do you identify if the 360 is the newer falcon chip?

I'm looking to get a 360 soon. I was just at one retailer and they have the Elite 360 with Forza 2 and Ultimate Alliance bundle. I loved forza on the old xbox, so this is a pretty sweet deal. Is there a way to identify if the system has the newer falcon chip inside, aside from purchasing the system and having to take it out of the box. I was hoping some of the numbers near the UPC meant something I guess. Anyone know? Thanks.

If it has the 175w power supply it is a Falcon. If it has a 203w power supply - it could be either on. Also on the premiums - if there is no HDMI then there is no way it's a Falcon.

If you're buying a new unit it is most likely a Falcon.

It doesn't hurt to purchase Intec's Air Cooler either! I did. :D

No. They don't work most of the time and mine fused to my xbox at one point and had to be pried off.

Cool, I however was dumb enough to buy an elite (lasted 5 months) after a launch core (Installed talismoon fan still running to this day never had rrod). To think a $20 fan couldve gone a long way, Instead I get a refurb with smoke residue all over the fans and I hate to think what the inside looks like.
