I've heard all this stuff about being able to install your games onto your hard drive and I have no clue how to do it. Can anybody tell me how?

hey, you must have the new xbxo 360 dashboard, if u have xbox live then it would of been downloaded alrready if you accepted the upgradeds. then put the game you want into the xbox, if it start's up then just exit the game back to the dashboard screen, and they press y for game details then it will say play game, downloads, copy to harddrive. see how u go?

ok heres the deal. like he said u CAN install the game from the disc onto your HDD but this is only to allow for faster load time and less wear and tear on the game disk. also dont think that microsoft is stupid to do this because u still DO need the game disc in the tray to prove that u own it. so that means u cant just rent games or borrow games and just copy it onto your 360.

It's in your console settings.. you can choose to either play the game in the disc or go to the dashboard when you power-on the 360 console.

I think once you install a game it always plays from the harddrive unless u delete the install. I was playing Onechanbara today then I install it and everytime I play the game just normally it seems to load a bit faster so I think it always plays from harddrive if the install is present. I'm not 100% sure because no1 has told me otherwise, but it seems so.

I try and install the game I'm playing for a long period of time onto my hard drive, not easy though as I have very limited memory ( I'm using the old 20gb version) to do so.

Yes you still need the game in the tray to play the game, but it'll no longer spin, thus increasing the life span of your dvd-rom.
