I had Demon Souls and enjoyed that game very much, but my friends that didn't have a ps3 (I have both) couldn't enjoy anything from outside of online videos. So I'm wondering how are 360 only gamers enjoying this?

I never played Demon SOul's, so this is a new for me, but i'm loving it so far, quite refreshing to see a game that rewards skill rather than be all hack and slash.

But how the hell can you dual wield shields? what would be the point? xD

I don't know why it would be necessary but they have it for some reason or another. The thing about this game is, there are secrets everywhere. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a shield that counter attacked and another to absorb attacks for hp. Glad you like it.

Dying in two hits against even mini bosses would be nice, so at least I can ATTEMPT to figure out how to kill them half of the time. I'm no noob to a game like this, and I actually really enjoy it.. but some aspects of this game are un-necessarily difficult. Not unfair so to speak, but often times I don't have a chance in hell. I understand dying is a critical part of this game, but I shouldn't have to die 15 times just to figure out HOW to potentially inflict a sliver of damage against an enemy. I certainly don't want freebies and easy bosses, but it's a little hard to figure it out sometimes when you:

1) can't outrun them

2) can't recover fast enough to dodge in the event you actually survive the first hit

3) actually have time to use healing elixers during a boss fight without getting your face smashed

It's a minor gripe that I am sure I just need to adjust to as I never played Demon Souls.. but it really brings me back to games like Ghosts and Goblins and Contra. Really is rewarding just beating something after having your ass handed to you for an hour. Oh, and the controls on the 360. They aren't horrible persay, but they aren't the best either. Once you adjust you'll be alright, but switching between weapons after aiming the bow feels wonky.

Outside of that? Love it.
