how do you live without xbox live?

I recently moved and dont get the Internet till the 5th, its been very boring. I try to use my xbox but its practically useless. And so boring idnt know how ppl without live enjoy their 360's.

andIm not sayin all i do is sit in a dark room and play games jeeez ppl. Im just sayin when i choose to play xbox It is not fun w/o live, esplly when my friends are callin me to halo it up and i cannot. and single player games are fun until u beat them. I just dnt know how ppl who regularly dnt have live can stand it.

people who never had live are fine with it. because they never had the experience. but i know whatyou mean. after you have had live its SOO boring.but if your into sports games. or role playing games such as Oblivion,Fallout 3 and toher games that you play alone... its not bad. also playing campaign and getting achievments is a +

IMO, if you don't have xbox live, you're missing out on half the experience of the 360. Gaming has moved on since the last gen - it is now a social experience, and its Live that made this happen.

Easy, there are a ton of good single player games.

I have LIVE but i can live without it, its nothing but a bunch of morons on there, besides theres more to life then videogames like women,beer, and sports.

I dont play xbox online, so i enter into live just sometimes to check something new.

I dont even let my xbox on the internet. No problem at all. If you feel bad about it, you must be playing too much.

TC, theres lots of single player games that keeps me away from Multiplayer games, for example, oblivion, fallout 3, Mass Effect, and way more single player games that keeps me busy. I think you TC play way to much online games and thats why your bored of it without live, kinda sad though. Go outside or something TC, it'll keep you busy.XXGamerfanXX

I have XBL and even then I rarely use it so I can see how people do without. It's just a bunch of kids screaming into their headset or older people talking ****. Some people like to play RPG games and other long SP games so it's easy to go without XBL.

I read comics(Green Lantern, The Flash) or Naruto manga. Go clubbing in Manhattan(i'm in Brooklyn). Hit up a lounge with friends. Come on websites like gamespot/ign/rapbasement/newsarama and blog with people.

...and last but not least catch up on the numerous amounts of movies I have never seen before (still haven't seen Total Recall, Rambo 4, any of the Death Wish movies, and a bunch of martial arts/japanese movies like: Seven Samurai, Old Boy, and The Killer)

considering alot of ranked matches for the sports games i play are broken online, i'm fine playing franchise modes. and with single-player rpgs being the only other kind of game i play, i don't need xbox live at all. i have a free silver membership for patches and updates, but online gaming has never appealed to me.

It's not really that necessary, but it does make the gaming experience much more enjoyable. It sounds like you've become a little spoiled by it though. When was the last time you enjoyed a nice offline game? A good single-player title?

Xbox Live is an absolute must for me. It's what provides all the replay value for games Like Gears 1 &2, COD4 and GTA IV. However, I'd be able to play some sports game offline if I lost live but it just wouldn't be as fun.

I don't have it, and I've survived. So far...

I'm really considering it now though because the DLC for some games is very appealing.

I haven't played my 360 in over 2 months and I'm perfectly fine. :P

Just try single player games.

I also moved a little while ago, and have been without xbox live for three months now.. personally I'll probably wait till christmas.. not being live at present has given me the opportunity to aquire some overlooked achievments,finish some titles off on the harder difficulties, plus enjoy someorriginal xbox titles I had'nt played through for a while.

Live is good, but it's not the 'be all and end all'.

I just go outside and do stuff.

I meet with some friends who have it once in a while, but, other than that, I'm perfectly happy playing offline. I just buy the games that I know will have excellent single player content. That and I keep reminding myself of the price for Live.:)

Well, I would love to have it, but it would be a distraction, and all these glitches (GoW2, CoD5) kind of hold me back. Also, it would take me so long to get GOOD, and also i really have no clue how to set it up. How do I live without it though? I dont really need it that much honestly, thats how.

I could live without it, but it definitely would not be as fun. Having xbl isn't just about playing multiplayer games though. There are the XBLArcade games, tons of game add-ons, and different themes/gamerpics. I also really like that you can play game demos, that way you aren't wasting any money renting or buying a game you don't like. Plus, now that the update is about to come out there will be more focus on the LIVE part of everything.

Mostly though I walk my dog, do some yard work, or some house cleaning....while streaming music to my 360 :)

I used to have live but I don't anymore got rid of my internet to save moeny so obviously live went with it. I might be getting the internet again so will see. I used to be a PC gamer and got a console basically cause I wanted to play some more single player games and not FPS. Basically I wanted some good action/adventure games and RPGS. Playing Tales of Vesperia now 37 hours in and just a little over hafl way done from what people tell me.

I can live perfectly fine without Live. I like RPGs and single player games way more than I do online multiplayer games.

Yep same here man this is how I feel. Not saying I don't enjoy games online cause I do (GTA4 was a blast online) but sometimes I just want to play by myself.
