Prepare 2 play a new game? Do u mean like decide whether 2 buy it or not, or do u mean if u preform some odd ritual so the gaming gods will grant u good fortune in ur gamin adventure?
if it's single player i put my headphones on so i can hear all the dialogue so i won't get confused by the story, or get distracted from any outside...eh.. distractions?
I slowly tear the packaging off the box. I then open the box and take the disk out. I SLOWLY insert the disc into the drive once it is opened. I then close my drive and hear it burst for a good 30 seconds. Then I play the game.
And no, I don't do this... I just play the game... Really.
Smile. Run towards my console, arms flying in the air whilst tearing the wrapping off, turn the console on, eject the drive, open the box, put the disc in the drive, close the drive, enjoy.
I always get nervous when I know I'm going to embark on an epic adventure. I know that the decision I make whether to play or not will likely affect every aspect of my life, from my social life to bathroom habits. If I delve in, there's no going back for a very long time. OH MY GOD HOW CAN I DECIDE?
I used to just pop the disk and play. But since I bought Mass Effect and my 360 got red ringed RIGHT after I popped the disk in. Now i'm going to do the "anti-red ring" dance before I play.
i open the package, put the disc in the console, set up the lounge with pillows, put the contoller on the lounge, turn the light off, sit on the lounge and play!
