Whats your gaming setup? Is it nice and organised? Is it a total mess. And not just your hardware, I mean you're whole gaming environment. Are you sitting on the sofa all civilised in the front room, or are you crashed out in the basement on a bean bag, surrounded by old pizza boxes.

post pics if you have them

Most of the time I am restricted to my gaming room..well thats what I call it. Its got the rubbish TV, but I can make as much noise and mess as I want.

I sit on the edge of the bed with an open beer on the bedside cabinate about a foot to my right and the stereo (I've got the sound wired up to my hi-fi, so I control the volume with it)

Infront of me is a total mess of gaming history. I have a PC desk that has been convrted into a gaming "rig" its basically holds the TV on it, and then on all the selves an assortment of consoles from the NES all the way up to the xbox 360, wires everywhere and then on the floor infront of that, a mess of open games caese, controller and beer bottles.

Its not pretty - but its my gaming mecca and my place to escape.

Mine didn't start messy, it was all neat when i first set it all up, but its slowly got that way.

and the trouble is, time tidying is time that I am not gaming, and I never have enough time to game kile i'd like to.

I guess I should have a clean up - maybe i'll make a habbit to tidy when I am waiting in game lobbys.....but I doubt it

Mines a total mess. On my desk is my 22in 360 screen and my 15in pc screen. Keyboard, mouse, junk. Games scatter to the 4 winds, cables all over the floor.

Everything is in my "man" room... A must have for all the married guys. I have my couch, bar, beer fridge, Computer desk and the 55 inch tv in it. Fun stuff. For the most part everything is organized. When I get it cleaned I will take some pics.

That sounds like a REAL man room. In my opinion, you shouldn't clean it so it'll be even more manlier. Every man should be really disorganized so that it's a challenge to find anything that you're looking for.

I try to "roll" in a clean environment. I find myself having to constantly clean my gaming area, but thats mainly due to the nights I find myself playing gears of war or call of duty 4 drunk. I have a old stereo system hooked up to a 30" pc Monitor with a vga 360 cord,(poor mans hi-def) all of which rests on a dresser that was given to me for free.

I have everything in one place, I have a 24 inch 1080p monitor that connects bith my 360 and computer together with a surround sound going to both, with a nice comfy office chair. I have never been a couch gamer...I usually fall asleep, guess thats the curse of being a PC gamer my entire life it seems.

42" 1080p hdtv sitting on top of my cabinet, which holds my ps3 and xbox 360 side by side one another in an open space. the systems lay on top of a 500 watt sony 3 disc stereo, the ps3 sits on top of the actual cd player part and the 360 sits on top of the 10 or 12" sub. then my other speakers to it sit to the left and right of the hdtv above the systems. i sit propped up on my bed and the far wall with big pillows for support. im not even gonna lie, it rocks for gaming and it was pretty sweet living at home while making 10 dollars an hour 40 hours a week at wal mart over the summer and not having to pay for anything but car insurance, gas, some food, and saving some for the bank. i got a speeding ticket going 125 in a 65, which cost me 600 dollars at the same time i bought thiat 1400 dollar tv lol, and i still managed to pay it all off in a couple months. those were the good ole days.

Mine is a very nice mixture of mess and clean. The setup is nice: a decent sized 32" LCD TV. To the left and right are my sound system speakers which hook up to my 360. In between the TV and the left speaker are my 360 and Wii consoles. The games are in a neat pile on a bookshelf. This is where things get messy. My Rock Band periphs aren't wireless, ergo a gigantic mess of tangled wires and crap. Not to mention controllers lying all over the place. When I play with my Wii I usually sit on the coffee table since the couch is too far to read the motion sensors.

yeah. heres what i have:

I sit next to a un-assembled rockband drum set in a plastic yellow chair in my basement. Sure there are other chairs but I concentrate better in this one. There is a set of wicker chairs, which are actually pretty nice, surrounding me for guests. They are from Pier 1. Then I have a Sony Trinitron T.V. from the early 90's on a wooden entertainment shelving unit which has decorations for various holidays in boxes on it. However, one section of this entertainment unit is devoted to my games. I have my xbox, standing upright. around it are a bunch of games, most of which are not in cases. I clean this hideous array of destruction once a month, or as needed (when guests come).

Mine is in the middle I guess. Controllers are inside a cabinet with the mic still connected to them and on the cabinet below them are all my games (Not in alphabetical order or categorized by system). Next to the tv are my recently played games or just games I don't bother putting back in the cabinet. Then I have my computer games lying around the desk; luckily I don't play too many of them, heh.

When my 360 is connected to my tv, I sit on the couch with my laptop on a stool next to it. I have no old food stuff laying around or my dogs would get init. When I have my 360 connected to my LCD monitor, I use my 2nd monitor for viewing sites or guides. Desk does have some papers on it and maybe a bowl or such since the dogs can't get up that high.

yea it doesn't sound very pretty, if you enjoy and can easily play good games with that setup, more power to ya.

Mine is personally in my bedroom. I have a stand with an old crappy 13 inch tv, then a shelf with the 360 (or other consoles that I swap onto it). The main problem is the fact that I live in an apartment, so I can't turn it up too loud during the night (really sucks) and the fact that my tv SUCKS. Oh well, it works for me.

hey, thats a respectable TV - its probably got stereo sound and everything!

My 21" beko (who??) TV has one mono speaker - so i've pimpout out the sound by wiring the audio leads to my stereo. Massive improvement - i totally under rated sound in gaming!

I've got a HD tv as well, but thats in the living room - not in my "man/gaming room" HD gaming is, overall def an improvement - but, its not a must have and it seems a little less forgiving that SD. Games with bad graphics are alot more noticeable in HD!

Mine's a bit of a mess. I tend to have a stack of games or two on the TV stand. I'm running out of shelf space for games, though. The games that are on shelves are in alphabetical order except for games in a series that might not be alphabetical. Those are usually placed chronologically.

My tv is in my bedroom. Most of my console gaming is lounging on my bed. No drinks or snacks anymore, though.

I have a wii and 360 currently set up, all my old consoles are in cardboard box land in the basement. My wii is on the subwoofer near my TV and my 360 is laying horizontal on the box it came it... I know pathetic setup but whatever. Games are stuffed in old shoe boxs right next to them, controllers sit on top of the consoles. there's 2 sofas and a big coffee table in the room as well, a craptastic PC in a corner and another desk in another corner... nothing much really, your standard everyday living room.

I have a pretty good SDTV, and I've got my 360 and Xbox right beneath it. I have a switcher on top which also has the DVD player and VCR plugged in, also I have this 50 foot long cord going to my computer room to my router because the adapter is too expens I've for me. All my games are in this black disk carrying case (in no order). so I'd have to say I'm mostly clean in my environment.

Just wondering what are the specs on that laptop?

Dell Inspiron E1705, 1 gig RAM, Intel Core Duo processor at 1.86 GHz, Windows Vista, ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 video card, 17" monitor, built in wifi. Not the best by any means but it suits me.
