How Do You Transfer Data From One Hardrive to Another

My Xbox 360 hardrive is somehow defective and im switching it for a new one. How do I transfer my Gamertag to the Other with all the Downloaded Xbox Live Arcade data and Downloaded Movies?

dont think you can...which is why all that stuff is free for you to download again since you've paid for it already. correct me if im wrong, never had this problem before

I dont think you can do that ....maybe if you had a memory card but if its arcade games i im not positive but i think you can re-download them once you recover your gamertag over xboxlive

If you don't have XBL then you can not get your gamertag back.

Yeah my 360 is kinda wierd it freezes when i put a game in and it happens with almost every game I put in. I traded in my 360 for a new one but i foolishly kept the harddrive. If the case is that my hardrive is defective i can easily transfer my data if i use some time right?

Since your download history is connected to your Profile you will not have to pay again.
