I get the tech, but I'm curious how they are going to make pressure sensitive functions work on new controllers, but not make a difference to people with the standard/ old controller?

I ask because some pressure sensitive buttons have two functions in one, and that won't work with the old controllers, right?

So does that mean they wont actually use it in games... or will they just say screw the old customers... or what?

The controllers don't. The system itself has the touch-sensitive buttons for the power/ eject buttons similar to the PS3. As in no moving parts.

There is a disc tray that slides out, just a touch button that activates it. The PS3 you slide the disc in, not in a tray like the slim.

yea its bad when you play near your console. because i play on my computer screen so my console is right next to the screen. when i try to adjust the volume manually (rather than using remote control) i sometimes accidentally make contact with the eject button and end up losing everything. its so darn sensitive. but the slim is a really great console though.

no -_- we're talking about the pressure sensitive buttons. you don't have to PRESS the the eject button. just make skin contact with it. even the softest of touch is registered

i think your mistaken, the controllers dont have them, the buttons on the 360 used to turn it on are pressure sensitive. ps3 has pressure sentitive buttons on the controller.

wow you truely confused me... until i noticed how..... gonna stop there before over power person reads it where the hell did you get the controllers being touch sensitive and why do you ever think that would work in any possible way to be able pass the drawing board?
