How fast did you guys get you 360 back from the repair center?

So heres my repair status timeline:

I request for a box on: 5/10

I get box on: 5/13

I deliver box to ups on: 5/16

They get box on: 5/22

They send box on: 5/26 (says shipped/scanned out on 3:17 today)

I recieve box on: Not yet

Seems pretty quick huh... The problem for me is i had sent the console without a warrenty sticker on the front, hoping that they would fix it anyway. I also sent a letter with the console saying my sister took it off, hoping they would understand...

Anyone try anything like this and get it back fixed. Or am i getting it back still broken, as i got it back fast

I am in the UK.

I have had two 360's fail. Both times i rang the UK Microsoft number and here they just tell us to find a cardboard box that fits and send it off to them so no waiting for a official box.

UPS picked mine up the following day and I got a replacement back 2 days later.

Whole thing took 4 days from phone call to delivered back to me. Both times.

No complaints at all about microsoft service in the UK :D

I had an extra Xbox 360 sitting around that way having problems reading discs. It finally RROD!!! yay!!!

I sent it to them on the 17th of April. They received it April the 22nd.

It was repaired and shipped out on the 24th of April and i received it on April the 28th.

It was no longer RROD and they seem to have fixed the disc reading errors.

I am saying that if there is no real sign of tampering within the 360 and it is just the seal removed that they will fix it and return it in working order.

When you get it back post in this thread if it was fixed or not.

CRAP, i just realised that i didnt get the second email...

I got the first email stating that they had recieved the console, in which it said:

Good news, we have received your Xbox console at our Service Center.

You can track the status of your order online by accessing http://service.xbox.com/servicesignin.aspx. You will also receive an e-mail notification when your repair has been completed.

Thank you for your patience.

Now i have not gotten a second email saying they have compleated the repairs...

Now what? I dont think they fixed it...:(

Once I rang, I had to send proof of purchase (picture sent through email), then within 4 days they collected my Xbox and after that it took two weeks to get it back. Fairly decent to me. All this "4 weeks" thing is crap.

I didn't get one e-mail.

You don't have to get an email, just they give you a confirmation number that you have to write on the package.

You take that number and type it into the spot on the page in the link above this post and it then takes you to UPS and their tracking system.

My 360 had a video problem and killed over when Halo 3 launched.

27 days and came back with a 3 month card :D

mine took about 6 weeks to get. i called them and they said there was an error with my shipment so they would send me another one, and it got to me during the last week of the halo 3 beta.
