How fast of an connectiondo you need to be lag-free in XBL

I orderd Earthlink DSL (They say is supposed to be 4x faster than regular DSL) yesterday, It should ship in 9 days.

The downstream speed can go up to 1.5 Mbps. I don't know the upstream speed is though.

Will games be lag free (excluding the fact that your opponent or team mates have a slowly connection)

If your downstream is 1.5Mbps, then that's a connection speed of at least 10MB which is MORE than enough for an optimum connection in games.

A connection speed of 1MB is good enough for a great connection. So, excluding other people's connections, the quality of the server you're playing on and all other external factors, you have nothing to worry about on your end.
