How good is Far Cry Instincts Predator?

Thinking of getting a FPS and was wondering what everyone thought of Far Cry.

Mainly single player but also multiplayer.

based on the demo I would say utter garbage.... but then again you should try the demo yourself and see

I rented it, played it for 30 minutes, and took it back. 

Wow i'm surprised at all the hate towards this game. I bought it and played all the way to the very end. I enjoyed it the whole way.vr4play6

I got it as the third game on my 360, and I was expecting to be blown away by the "next-gen" graphics.....needless to say, the graphics were underwhelming.

it is garbage.  i bought it for some reason and only played it three times.  just absolutely terrible control. pure crap!

It's a very fun game, played through both campaigns and didn't get bored the whole time. I thought the graphics were awesome, which most people seem to hate.  It was frustrating at times but rewarding too.  there's a few fun vehicles to drive around also. Both campaigns take around 15-16 hours to complete total.

the multiplayer i had a blast with for about an hour and then things got repetitive.  i'de say rent it like I did and save some money
