How good is Halo 3???

Many of the kids at my school say it's the best game ever for the xbox360. Even though there not gamers. I've read the review on gamespot and other sites. Plus I've seen videos and screen shots, but my question is this. Is halo 3 worth it. Even though Iam a wii person and nintendo fan (not fanboy) I planing to get a 360 sometime and a game for it. I had other picks but I thinking of get Halo 3. Plz tell me why!

Honestly, the single player is fantastic, except for it only lasting 6-8 hours, and once you collect all the skulls and beat it on legendary, it quickly loses it re-playability. In my opinion, the multi-player is awful, slayer is the ultimate no skill game, I got bored with it after about 8 games.

All in all, it's a very average FPS, nothing worth buying a console over.

i thought that the sp was a little lacking but if you get live then halo 3 is a must

Halo3 Is the best game on 360 currently, the live mulitplayer isthe best, the campian is ok but the multiplayer is awesome, the grafics are stunning.the only prob is that the multiplayer is very addicting, 9.9 is my score, it is worth 60 bucks and if u have live its worth more:shock: its a must have for any gamer. for some reason i find myself playing it very night. 9.9

Singleplayer- 7.5 (was very disappointed :()

Multiplayer- 10 (kicks arse :))
