How good is xbox compatibility. Want to play xbox games on my new elite...

I want to play Manhunt, Max Payne 2, Doom 3 and many more older xbox games on my new elite. So my question is:

1) How well do these games play on the Xbox 360?

2)Do the graphics improve at all from the xbox to the xbox 360?

3) Any issues that I should be aware of?

1) Im pretty sure those three games are BC. If they are BC they should play fine. Although, I sometimes experience crashes when i play Fable.

2) The graphic dont improve, just the resolution. BC games can be upscaled in resolution, so yeah they can look better.

3) Not every xbox game is BC on the 360. Im sure there are some issues, like how my game will randomly crash when i play Fable.
