How is Resident evil 6?

I see alot of mixed reviews. Game informer gave it an 8.5, but gamespot game it a 4.5, I beleive IGN was some were in between. Just curiouse I will probably be picking this up eventually. Im currently playing Resident Evil 5 and really enjoying it.

I've put around 70 hours into RE6 and I'm pretty satisfied with the game. The campaigns are a pretty good length each and the mercenaries (what I usually play now) can be really fun especially with a buddy. It has its problems but its not as bad as some reviews make them out to be. If you have a friend to play with co-op it really makes it more enjoyable.

My main problem with the game is the difficulty. Even on professional on a clean start (no weapons from previous runs) it's a joke. Much easier compared to the previous 2 RE games I've played (RE4 and RE5).

It's a good game that received a harsh trolling from reviewers that probably only played the prelude. It's not great but it definitely has some awesome parts in it. I like it better than 4 or 5 but I wouldn't put it anywhere near part 2.

I had high expectations but its still a descent game.

co-op is its saving grace

I am still yet to pick it up. But honestly, i barely have any time to play games lately so i have to pick and choose what i play. I might skip Resident Evil 6 based on gamer reviews. Not a fan of the different (4 to be exact) storylines that it offers.

As I read the title, 'How is Resident Evil 6', I could just imagine a trollface, there and then

Resident Evil 6 was bad, really bad. I guess it was an "okay" third person shooter, but as a Resident Evil game it was terrible.

It's so bad that I didn't even finish the 3 initial campaigns and I'm one of those people that complete a game I start 98% of the time even if it's not very good.

Resident Evil 6 is a very good game overall. It will let you move and shoot which is a big improvement from Resident Evil 5 . I like the campaigns with Leon and Chris especially. There are some really good stories for the campaigns .My biggest complaints are 1. Too many quick time events . 2. Too few save points in the game .

i love it. But there was so much hate towards this game for no reason at all.

Resident Evil 6 is a great game, but the hate it gets are not the actual problems with the game, it's more things like the true integrity of the campaigns themselves.

For your convenience, I just made a blog post regarding my true thoughts on the game aswell, while spending the majority of the article addressing the bad problems that no one seems to talk about, and instead completely write off the game because it's nothing like the older Resident Evils.

4, 5, and Revelations are way better, but 6 is not bad. I would recommend buying it.

I've got almost 90 hours play time and I've had good fun. I have not even played co-op at all yet, save for one mercenaries game that I quit out on because I just prefer doing it solo.
