How is Street Fighter IV with the D-PAD?

I also have to say that the PS3 controller isn't fairing any better for me, which is really the only reason I got it for PS3. It looks like I'll need to get an arcade stick to maximize my experience.Large_Soda

I purchased the PS3 version based on the comments about the 360 d-pad.....

If the PS3 is the good version i would be scared to even attempt the 360...

Pulling off Ryu/Kens Ultra combo is near impossible... i keep doing the uppercut... which leaves me dangerously vulnerable

Another problem is the layer of skin i lost on my thumb trying to do all these specials.... Its pre-blister, but senstitive enough to feel it all day long..

Ill have to play with a bandaid from now on (or until they finally release some arcade sticks)

The d-pad is pretty bad.

Thats why I got used to using the control stick. Its not bad once you get used to it.

I only played for about 3 hours.... but i couldnt get my ultra to go off, so i would be constantly trying...

After 200+ hadukens my skin started to get warn down....

Dont play games enough to have the 'gamer calluses

its really bad. ahhh.

but youll have to deal unless you want to pay 500$ for an arcade stick on ebay
