Haven't seen any hackers, but I don't have the map packs so I only play in the players choice playlist. I've never seen any hackers on gears 3 though. And the community seems active enough.
still plenty active and i haven't seen too much in the way of cheaters. I have hopped into a few games where weird stuff was def going on but its extremely rare.

Havent played gears 3 online yet. does the community still make racial slurs and tell you how cruddy you are at the game?

Majority of time people are in parties, so no. If there is a case - it happens, same as other games. On topic: Competitive community is still strong, fair few playing casually too, plenty of streaming - just brought in the MLG Hype skins hopefully get some awareness out there.. all going good, yes.
Yeah, the cussing (and generally being awful to each other) will never go away. But hey, that's MP right? That's why unless we're playing with friends, we hit that big Ol' mute button. lol
Awesome I'm glad to hear hackers aren't had popular as I was told , But thanks for the feed back guys. I can now get xbox live and hop on some gears 3 :D
