How is the X360 version of Battlefield 3? How does it compare to the PC one?

I want to hear some opinions about how does the X360 version of BF3 feel. I especially want to know if it still maintains that epic feel of huge maps and epic battles going on all around you. How much does only 24 players take away from the experience? Are the maps much smaller? Do they feel empty?

To answer all of your questsion, BF3 is great on the 360. The 'epic' feeling of huge maps and giant battles going on all around you is certainly there and having 24 players doesn't take from the experience at all.

I don't have it for pc(even though i have a pc that can run it on max.) i just prefer my FPS be on 360. i leave my pc for rpgs, and stuff. BUT i can say the MP is GREAT no questions asked. On team death match mode, The game is played in a smaller area of the map rest if blocked off. Even in those game mode the maps feel big, Playing on other game modes the whole map is unlocked and they are BIG. I Played the beta on pc and the metro map feels a tid bit bigger on the sides on pc BUT runs the same on the way on consoles.

I haven't played the PC version, but I have the console version and it's pretty good. It's nothing earth shattering, and I don't think it'll be better or worse than MW3.

Its basically the same game just the graphics arent as good as the PC version on ultra still though the consoles hit what appears to be about medium pc settings which isnt bad at all. The only real difference between the versions is of course the player count which does not affect the game imo. The maps have been scaled back a little but they are still huge and multiple times bigger than anything else you will see in fact you usually dont see all of a map in a single game and conquest and rush take you to different parts of the maps. Most importantly is does feel very populated. Theres almost always someone trying to shoot at you. Anymore and i would actually say its overcrowded.

I was thinking that last part you said playing earlier today. I'm like, this would be insanely packed with 20 more people on each team. I mean even if the maps are bigger for pc, the choke points still exist and idk how that would work out well.

Well, I haven't played the PC version, but I can say that the 360 version is great. There is also a HD content install on the Multiplayer/Co-op disc which makes things look better too. I am having a LOT of problems with the servers though, which is really disappointing! It does indeed still feel awesome with the huge maps and whatnot, and 24 players does seem like a lot. I love just crawling around on the floor in the corners and edges, seems more strategic and I always succeed better this way. I will say though that the game feels strange in the way that it kind of feels more like Medal of Honor or Modern Warfare 2 meets Battlefield, because the pacing feels a bit different for some reason. Maybe I will change my mind about that the more I play it though. The Metro map does feel quite Call of Duty-like.
