how long...?

ok...im coming here because i went to the broken xbox thread and recieved no help. so, i think i got the red ring stuff but my friend said it was 4 rings and i cant remember if it was 3 or 4...so now im kinda freaked about this...i "got them" on friday and havent had any problems since, so assuming i have the red rings...when will i seethemcome up again?

You really need to remember if it was three or four red lights.

Four means your AV cables are/were loose. No big problems.

Three lights means an internal hardware error, and that is what's known as the Ring of Death. Even if your console has been working okay since you saw the three lights, it means the 360 is sick and will continue to get sicker. It will eventually die, I'm afraid.

So, as mentioned, the difference between three and four lights is pretty important.

it not a joke, you never know could be days, could be weeks, could be months. just enjoy it for now i guess.

my 360 froze with the rings once and then was fine for 2 months where everything shut down....i sent it in on the 22nd of august and Microsoft received it yesterday:evil:mor-ski
