reach 10k gamerscore?

ive had my 360 for about 3-4 years now, and i just recently(today) finally reached 10k gamerscore:D

i know thats not fast or anything but im proud of it. and i know most of you will put me to shame:P

so how about you guys, how long did it take you to reach 10k gamerscore?

i got 10k not too long ago (at a little over 11k now), had the gamertag for a few years before i got it.

Don't really pay attention to GS, but I'd guess about a year and a half, maybe two.

Took me 3 or 4 years. Spent a lot of time playing multiplayer where there are a lot less achievements. I don't care about or pay much attention to my gamer score.

Less then a month after I got it I think. Wasn't exactly a lot of games back then.

I got to 10k in about a year...I've had it since launch. I'm up to 35k right now. I'd have more but play whr ps3 and pc as well so..but im happy with my 35k

I got About 34oo Pts now And Ive had my latest xbox for about 8 months I've been curious to know how many games do you guys have 100% completion of I dont think I have a single one.

Around a year I reckon for 10k. Not overly bothered about gamerscore though, more of a completionist myself.

I don't play my 360 much at all and certainly don't bother trying to max out any achievements on it, but I got about 9.6k in under a year. It's really not difficult to do.Planeforger

It takes me so quick because i have alot of games and i play alot so it takes me wicked quick.... I made my new xbox live almost a month ago and im already half way there

id have more, but i spend too much time playing Left 4 Dead 2 online, plus i dont have that many games, so i make the most out of what i have.

well alot of people dont bother with gamerscore, it just happens.

if i had bothered about my gamerscore, it would be alot higher, as there are achievments, that ive just neglected to do. while some dont worry about their gamerscore, they can still be proud of it.

I got this in 2009 and I'm still on 9200 GS :P .. coz of online play and also play a lot on ps3 so ;)

I have 100% completion on 2 games, Need For Speed Most Wanted (all you had to do was beat the game) and Madden 08. I could get 100% on a lot more games, but like I said, I don't really care about achievements or trophies. I'll probably go for 100% on a few other games that I really like (Uncharted 2, CoD4, Halo 3 and Reach), but that's about it. CoD4 will be next since all I need to do is gather all the intels and shoot all the TVs on the 2nd (I think) level.

I'd probably say a year. I don't focus on achievements or anything, but they do add quite a bit of replay value in my mind.

It has been about a year since I had to create a new profile and almost up to 20K now (again). It probably took me less than 6 months to get 10K.

Around two years.

I have much more time to play video games now than I did then, though, so my score has been increasing at a much quicker rate now. Is that a good thing or sad?

Haven't reached it yet pretty damn close though.

I have 10085G, have had my 360 since November 2010.

A year or less.

I dunno, maybe around a year, I just now am truly finding joy in getting 100% achievements, so I go much faster now.

Interesting. I've had my 360 for about 9 months and I'm around 7k. It seems like 10k a year is about average.

Most of the early titles, along with just about every sports launch title, made it damn easy to max out the 1k points. IIRC about the time Gears of War came out, developers started adding ridiculous goals to get all acheivements unlocked.

Edit: College Hoops 2K6, Madden NFL 06, NBA2K6 are easy point getters and super cheap to pick up... Just a lil tip for the newer point whores out there.

I used to work in video game retail, so no more than a couple months. I'm around 45k right now, if I remember correctly. I don't really pay much attention to it anymore. My old boss has well over 100k, and I'd say he spent fewer hours gaming than I did. He just achievement whored whereas I'm a Battlefield junky and mostly play online shooters.

But now I have around 57,251 gamerscore.

I went from 5-6k to 13k in about 6 months.

So about 10k per year playing average of 1-2 hours a day.

Tought 2 weeks.(Buyed back then a couple of games when I buyed my xbox)

I'm allmost at 30K after 1year and 3 months.

20 k since I got my xbox 3 years ago

I have around 12,500 and I got my xbox 3 years ago.

Maybe a little less than a year.
