Half Life 2 and the episodes don't last too long, but they are AMAZING to play through. So amazing you will want to play through it again, and again. I guarantee it. Portal has many facets that make the replay value gold. If that's not enough for you then Team Fortress 2 offers unlimited replayability. You won't get bored with this game, I promise. I would advise you however to pick it up for the PC as it has a stronger following there then on the 360 (extra portal and TF2 maps/bigger online community). You won't regret buying this game!
I played it up until about a week after I beat Portal. I tried playing through Half Life 2 and it just didn't do it for me, I understand why people love it, it just wasn't for me. Team Fortress 2 was fun and I loved the art style, but I always seemed to have trouble ever finding anyone online. I might buy Portal again for my PC, just because that was such a great game and the additional content on the PC sounds great.
i had already played half life 2 and episode 1 on PC but i played through them again because they're so awesome then after finishing ep 2 and portal i spent ages playing TF2 but then i had other games to play so its been awhile since i last played.
and because im about to go on a gamerpoints spree before giving up playing for points for good it'll be awhile before i play again.
i bought it when it first came out and played it for about a month and finished half life 2, episode 1 and 2 also and didnt like portal and team fortress. Then i just got bored of it.
First thing I did was play a bit of Half-life, then I finished Portal and went back to completing all of Half-life which took me about 10-15 hours for Half-life 2, Episode 1, Episode 2. Half-life is definitely the best part of the package.
holy crap, I played the game for about ten minutes...not that it's bad, I just beat it on PC already and someone bought OB as a gift for me a while back. So if anything's new on this version, let me know.
Ive got it on pc (since Christmas) and i still play it. ive played the 360 1 but the pc 1 is alot better from wat ive seen.(mainly because mods, LAAAAAGGG SERVERS, i can use my razer copperhead, ETC) o and not to forget about the medic achievments/weapons and soon to be pyro =D.
Oh, I don't even know. A pretty long time I suppose. It's the rare time of game(s) that I keep coming back to. I still have to make an attempt to get those Portal medals. I figure at least 60 hours and if it weren't for other achievements, I'd probably still be playing TF2.
