So... I got my 360 working again with the towel trick.
It's been working for about 4 days now with no problems at all. How long can I expect before it breaks again?
Thanks.

i thought ~5 days, a week max...
you should just send it to MS i mean it gets really annoying after a while
Heh... I can't believe I used to be one of the "It will never happen to me ... you just don't look after your console well" people.
Well... now I am a believer. My 360 has not even had a spec of dust on it since I bought it, and is put in the most well ventilated place that you could ever possibly imagine.
Ha... :P
:D
Mine began with extreme graphical texture glitching, followed the next day by the 3 red rings, then followed by the one red light in the bottom right and on the screen was system error in eleven languages and E71 at the bottom...all three problems are worth sending it in for.
I was convinced that I would never have any problems with mine since I take such good care of it...I've never tried the towel trick, I just called Microsoft for a box to be sent out.
What is the towel trick? mine just died today :P_Live4HIM13_
u put 3 towels around the 360 just pluged in, wait about 30min it should turn off automacly, let it cool it should work.
it should last u about a week if u hae the luck, sometimes if u try again it doesn't work.
