wait how many weeks have you had it so far.... if you say 52 do not turn your xbox on again!!!! otherwise BAM! RRoD... its exactly 52 weeks when every single 360 gets the RRoD /sarcasm. honestly what a stupid question.adders99
well it really depends on what game you are running and for how long you play at a time. The RROD is when the sodders come loose from the processor.
I got mine last christmas, i play it horizontally, and on the Carpet and ive been playing it like that since i got it and mien still never got RROD.xhizors96
Its not safe to play it on the carpet. The vents will suck stuff up.

ye i know about that, im gonna get one of those stands so that it wont be on the carpet anymore, although im expecting it to RROD soon since im getting cod5 and gears 2 at christmas so im gonna be gaming 2x as much as i usually do :P
I got my 360 when it first came out, exacly 1 year and +1 day later i got RROD. Got it repaired and all that, Since then i've had the RROD come up two more times, last one being in August of this year. If it dies one more time, i'm just going to go buy a new one, prolly the elite.
i was wondering about how many hours of running does it take for a 360 to get RROD or other hardware failure? it would be most appreciateddjmillard2
..Approximetly 48 hours..
