Im around 7 hours in and ive only just left the citadel (starting place), allthough im doing everything I posibly can and not skipping out on anything but yeah.. I can see it being quite long and with replay value to go through atleast 2 times..
On the latest 1UP Show according to them the main game will last you 14 hours and if you do all the side quest then 20. It was a bit disappointing to hear that but I'm still getting it.
i've just left the citadel too and made my way to a planet called feros woot the galaxy map is unreal...i can see this taking up like to like 50-60 hrs to complete..its big...very big..
judging by people on the mas effect forum you CAN beat it in about 20 hours, but you can also play many side missions and explore which will make it longer, around 40. Alsoyou are given incentive to start a new game seeing as you can use your previous character after you beat it.
Yeah, it looks like it's going to be around 30 hours or so doing both the main story and side quests to go with it. People who got the game early have already claimed to beat the game at around 15 hours going through the story elements.
I beat it in 30hrs and i did all the side quest i could find. explored alot of planets but not as much as i could have. Im gunna replay threw it and do the opposite of what i did the first time.

Word was spead that K-Mart stores were selling the game early. I don't know if they do that now, but people took the opportunity to snag an early copy.

Thats why people have beat the game in 20-25 hours then right? Developers lie about how long their games are, 40-60 for everything and only 20-25 for the main quest.

i think that is what he is saying. People rush through games all the time.
I think it could possibly be over 60 hours...Like the length of a final fantasy game, if you want to do everything, which is why bought the game in the first place...
