How long will it take to beat these games?

I know what games i want for Xmas and am pretty sure my parents don't want to spend any more (but hopefully they might) so how long will it take to beat each of these games?

Halo 3

Assassins Creed

CoD 4

i play like all games at my friend's too...

but halo 3 is ~idk id say 8-12 hrs depending on difficulty and ur skill level (but multiplayer id say take about infinity hours to finish cuz its always fun and new and fresh and awesome) ((from what ive played haha))

assasins creed ~10 hrs more if u do like EVERY single side quest thing

CoD4-idk havent played it

ooh and mass effect idk im looking into buying it too haha

i played it like an hour and from what i saw it looked pretty nice

let me tell you something about Assasins creed.. iv´ve beated that game and did every single side missions there were before doing the last.. and the whole game took me something about 2-3 days.. but ofcourse i didint play more then 4-5 hours a day... i think it took something about 12-15 hours.... i did everything there could be done thats whyselectmode

I would probably do everything in the game to because I just hate leaving it unfinished so at least I know I will get a good 10-15hrs of gametime out of AC. So i can guess that I will prob beat a lot of all these game over Xmas vacation.

ooh and mass effect idk im looking into buying it too haha

To answer the TQ:

Halo 3 - About 10 hours

Assassin's Creed - About 20 hours (from what I've heard)

COD4 - About 10 hours (from what I've heard)

Mass Effect - About 35 hours (it depends on the difficulty setting and how you play)

to tell you the trueth the game is pretty easy but i just fooled around to do all these 50 jumps and stuff like that :P... if i would play it again now.. knowing what to do to complete the game.. i wouldnt call myself for a player if i ididnt finish the game eatleast maximum 8 hours!!

i see what ya mean. I would be going for all the achivements to so that wouldprobably tack on some more playtime.

HAHAHAHA thats funny.. no but i too wanna know sometimes.. so i get him!!

i just finished mass effect today, took me about 17-19 hours, + all the time i died and had to reload.

I hardly did any side quest, think i was on 1 uncharted world, and went back to the citadel one time for a few quest's. :)

I actually didn't feel that Mass effect were "short" although it wouldn't have made it any worse having a playtime on the main story on around 40-50 hours like the final fantasy games :)

you can play COD4and halo3 for ever because of the awesome online. Mass effect is probably about a 30-40 hour game(im not sure i havnt beaten it yet). and Assassins creed is a 10 hour game but you can play that game over and over without it gettting boring.

we're not sure if we will be able to get live though because of the sucurity on out computer. I think the wireless adapter would solve that problem but i don't think my parents r willing to spend the money, they've already spent enough.
