No, they won't cover it, because they say it cannot be scratched unless you did something. I also had freezing problems, sent it in, and recieved a different one only one week later:) And it works fine.

Next time, buy it from Costco. You can just walk in, return it, and walk out with your brand new one.

The earlier you send it in, the earlier you'll get it back.

No it isn't. It isn't Gamestop's fault your 360 scratched your disk and as such they aren't responsible for giving you a replacement disk. That's like saying the makers of your baseball owe your parents a new window when you hit the ball through it.

What are you talking about? You buy something, bring it home, break it and just because you have the recipt you should be able to take it back and get a new one? Noooooo, son. That's not how the world works. Returns and exchanges are for when you buy something you can't immediately inspect and when you finally open it up you see it's broken. Not getting an new something after you've already broken it.

It doesn't cost anything, if you are still under warranty. You call them, and tell when you bought the xbox, and give them the serial number. And then they ship you a box, you put your 360 in it, and Dhl or Ups is coming to pick it up. It's all free:)

They ask you for your home phone, your address, your 360's SN, your screen name for XBL in some cases. Shipping will depend on where you are or if you have the warrenty. If you have the warrenty they cover shipping, if not go to UPS.com and figure out how much it would be to send something 2nd day air to th address they give you. Their repair facilities are in Texas.

Yes, yes they should. They should also send you a box to ship it in with a return shipping label. But it's always good to ask them instead of assuming they will.
