My Elite is noticibly louder when its spinning a disc.. if its just on, its very quiet, but again when spinning a disc it sounds kind of loud...

i just got my elite a few days ago so i cant compare it to the premium/core.

when u turn it on it gets a lil loud but once on the dashboard it is quite

if u put a game in it gets loud, but then gets a lil quiter the rest of the game and u don't realize the noise from it when ur focused on the game (well, for me thats true).

Can't really notice much of a difference.

My elite is quieter than my premium. I only ever sometimes noticed my premium when it was reading disks but i can't even tell when the elite is doing anything now. Nice and quietkarmageddon2k4

yes, like mine. i have seen youtube videos of the noise they make and my elite doesn't make any of those noises. it's true, u can;t hear it when it reads disks, only the fan when it turns on

Yah pretty much same here, my elite is less than a week into my apt, cant comment on the other Models

All the Xbox consoles sound very loud.

They're all the same console. Just different bundles.
