if you need more than a hundred friends on xbox live i think you have bigger problems to worry about, but right now you can only have about ahundred friends on your list without any troubles, this could easealy be fixed with an update however so if you're holding your breath ... dont think microsoft is not listening, how many do you need? two three hundred? it can happen, it just wont happen tomorrow or the next day, it may take a while ... sorry bye!

The fact that you have more than 100 friends doesn't mean you don't have a life. Depending on how long someone spends playing a system will determine whether they have a life or not. Those who spend more time on a system obviously have no life compared to those who spend less time. Some people's lives are on a game, others are in the real world. Everyone has a life what they do with it differs from person to person. Now the restriction of more than 100 friends is not because they think people have no life, but because it's hard to have 100 friends. Half the people on everyone's friend's list probably barely talks to them. I would know i went from about 80 friends to 40.
i think 100 is good you have to think about the stress the friends list puts on the system its proabably too keep it from affecting games.
My list has about 30 something people i actually know in real life another 30 something are people im cool with that i met online and the rest are just random and i only keep in real close touch with a select few so yeah 100 is good
