mate , big deal , no one is really bothered about the price difference if you can afford the elite good for you, if you cant get what you can, any way you could buy the 120 gb hard drive separately in future when the price goes down

i have about 70+ saves on memory ranging from 100KB to 1.4GB and still have 7.0 Gigs left. So 20 is good for me, plus i don't download movies, tv shows or XBLA and if your into those downloads then probably want the 120Gigs.

Like i said i don't download off XBL much, just maybe demos, which the highest i seen is around 4 gigs. Its easier for me to just buy the game then download them.

I have a 20 gig hardrive and it has not been a problem for me so far, although I sometimes worry about the future.

I have 15 Xbox Live games, plus downloadable content for quite a few games, plus probably 100 ripped songs. I think my harddrive is at our 7 or 8 gigs left.

Each XBOX game you would download is about 2.5 gigs. So thats about 7 or 8 games you could fit into that harddrive IF you don't put ANYTHING else in there :(

Good point. If you are just using the Hard Drive for game saves for store purchased games - the 20gb will hold ALLOT. But if you're jumping on the XBOX Originals bandwagon and downloading full DVD size games from XBL - then you may run out of space fairly quickly with the 20gb. Throw in a movie or two and some expansion packs if you're into all that - and you may soon find yourself wishing for the 120gb drive.

I have the 20 gig hard drive which is pretty much only a 12 gig because of the crap they have on there. Anyway i dled Ninja gaiden black and that took up 6 gigs so i have 5 something gigs left so if your thinking of dling alot of xbox games you better go elite

The Elite doesnt cost much more than a Premium so unless your dirt poor (Which you arent if you want a Premium) then get an Elite

Your Hard Drive will fill up quick if you download a lot of Xbox Originals. Ninja Gaiden Black is the biggest at 5.9 Gigs.

I'm glad that I went with the elite, I just went below the 100 gig available mark. Mind you that I do have like 35 XBLA games and several of the originals, plus lots of game saves. It did however take from the launch of the elite until now to fill that up so it's not like something that is absolutely necessary (even if you do play on buying lots of downloadable games)

As for the Xbox originals...most of them can be bought on a disc for much cheaper than downloading. The only way I'd even consider downloading one of them is if I can't find the disc anywhere.

think about it this way, the 120gig hard drive is only 100$ or so less than the elite, so your getting the best hard drive around and the system thrown in for 100$ more

You won't be sorry spending the extra 100 for the bigger harddrive. Eventually, you'll run out of that 20GB space. It took me two years to do it, because I hardly DL anything, but I did eventually run out.

With the influx of Xbox Originals, I've put about 40GB onto my seperately purchased 120Gb.

It will cost you 170$ if you decide you really want it later.

Also, I'd like to point out that if you find yourself owning alot of games with extra downloadable content, you'll find yourself running out of space in no time.
