How many have this problem?

After my Bioshock game damaged my system.I got another sent to me. The lady I dealt with over the phone had said that because newer games have great graphics , it causes games to freeze. I couln't believe such a thing that such a powerful machine could have this problem. I was trying to fisnish up Ninja Gaiden 2 tonight but when it gets to the point right before the Daga Drai battle (spelling?) , the game freezes. Not only does it freeze but the screen goes black and only thing you can do is turn off system manually . I did three times and I still can't load up the final stage of the game . I had a similar issue with this game in earlier chapters while loading one of those Vigor challenges but I was able to advance. I hardly play games nowadays but this is my only current game with issues and I don't think its the game itself. I have heard similar stories about GTA4 which I may still get but not if it freezes all the time. How do you guys deal with this crap and how many of you have this problem? Thanks

thats a ninja gaiden problem not a system or new game problem

I have had games freeze on me before, the problem escalated until I got the triple reds. I have a new system now and it doesn't happen as often, sometimes just swapping out the discs for a new one will work, if you can take Gaiden back and exchange it for a diff copy that might solve your problem. If you don't have that option try renting it, if the rental copy works, keep it and put your disc in the rental case and return that.childe_roland

I just did the update tonight. What the hell does this update do and they better fix it quick.

how do you explain what Bioshock did to my system then? I am starting to think maybe this is a problem with the older systems , I guess that makes the most sense.

Yeah cause one person doing this will make EVERY copy you EVER rent eff up your system... Blockbuster and Rogers Video are huge corporations, replacing a scratched disc for them is nothing, people need to look out for themselves. Would you turn Robin Hood in to the king? Same idea, smaller scale. Steal from the rich, give to yourself.
