3, only one broke, well my cat ate part of the cord. but i also have the plantronics x30 as well as the wireless one. although i believe my wireless one is broken b/c alot of times it will sync with controller 2, but that controller isn't even on.
I got my headset with my system and I got a headset when I purchased my live subscription. So the way that it works for me is I have an assembly line. When one breaks down, I am in no rush to fix it because I just use my backup and next time I go to Future Shop I just bringthe broken onein and get a free one since I have the original headset with the system covered under warranty. When my warranty expires in 2008 though, I'll have to buy a wireless headset since my wired one has broken at least 4 times, I've lost count (I've had my system since launch though). I don't care though, it only takes 5 minutes to get a new one and they'refree. New ones feel better too.
i thought my first headset was broken when i first got the 360 back in 05 so i called the 360 hotline thing and they sent me a new 1 for free but they both work I was just an idiot and had child locker thing on so the mic's didnt work.
Being an idiot gets u free stuff with microsoft :)
I never purchase the replacements, instead I just buy a new one, swap it for the broken one, put the broken one in the box and return. Money saved + new assesory recieved + its illegal but so what, nobody gives a crap҉
