I just simply can't wait for mine. Even though it might not differ much from the premium, but it sure is nice knowing u will have HDMI, bigger HDD and all your accessories will be black...Sweet!!!

Well I already have the pretty white one, but knowing that my brother wants one I will give him mine and get the elite for myself, even though i was already planning on getting it already.
I plan on getting an Elite when Microsoft releases it with the redesigned chip set included. I don't want another over-heating monster.
I honestly coudl care less about the 360 Elite. So what that all the console, controllers, etc. will be in black. I think multiple color consoles are stupid to begin with. As far as it having HDMI, I don't have an HD TV to take advantage of it. The TV that my 360 is hooked up to will probably be the 2nd or 3rd TV that gets upgraded to HD in my house when the time comes. The bigger HDD drive is nice, but since as long as I am able to get it as a seperate add on for my current 360 I don't mind having to do that. I still have about half of the space remaining on my current HDD cause I don't d/l many demos or Marketplace stuff other than XBLA games.
So in answer to your question no I don't wish I had one already. I think MS will regret pricing it so close to the low end PS3 that it coudl backfire on them and not sell as well as the think it might.
I don't have an HDTV and I don't need 100 more gigs of hard drive space when my 20gigs work just fine. I'm not gonna spend $480 for another 360 when I've already got one and I'm damn sure not shelling out $180 for a 120GB hard drive. In my opinion, this move is gonna backfire on Microsoft.

My comparisons were what you get out of the box for PS3 as opposed to what you get out of the box for 360 Premium and Elite. To show you that if you want all those down the road that is what you'll have to pay. The price of a 360 headset and component cables will not drop the price comparison by $350 or even $250. You're still getting screwed in the long run for trying to match everything the PS3 has out of the box. Plus, 120GB is quite a bit excessive for a game console. 60GB is stretching it already. I'm biased huh? That's why I own a 360 and not a PS3. Nice one. Buddy. Good call. RavenSoSHe's right lose the attitude and don't get to proud of yourself.
but sony is using only 25 gig single layer blu ray for the games and they are already costing as much as 360 games, but when they double that disk size the price of the games will more than likely go up, and sonys network cant compare to live, no contest. it should be well known now, that a well funded server will work a hell of a lot better than one that isnt so well funded. oh and not to mention with the ps3 you are actually paying 600 for a dvd player. seeing how there are hardly any games out on it worth playing, and or comming out that isnt gonna be on the 360. oh and your little post is a little incorrect, sony is already in the works on trying to make a bigger harddrive( 3rd version of the system ) sony-pissmoney away. MS- atleast your getting something back.I don't have an HDTV and I don't need 100 more gigs of hard drive space when my 20gigs work just fine.
