Got it for Christmas, have played through Beautiful Katamari, Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, and almost all of Bioshock without issue. I think I was able to get one with the new falcon processor, which will hopefully mean I won't have a problem.
Was sending your xbox in a big hassle? Did it take a long time for them to send it back? Have any of you folks who have gotten your xbox back since late fall/winter still have had problems?
I sent one in about six months ago and the one I got back was already falling apart when I first hooked it up. So when it finally completely broke down I just bought a new core system.
