I have it. All the maps are fun. Do a few private patches to learn how each map works. There are always plenty of people on the new maps, so you won't have to worry about nobody else having them.
Best Map: Chinatown
Fun but challenging: Creek
Most like a regular CoD4 map: Broadcast
Small skirmishes: Killhouse
I bought it. They're... ah hell they're pretty crap.
Chinatown- Campers campers campers. Everyone runs to a window and stands there waiting for someone to run by.
Creek- Snipers galore. Everyone else camps in the cave.
Broadcast- Not too bad, but it's not all that great either. Oten people camp in the bathroom and thinks they're so clever for thinking of crouching on the toilet. It's a hectic fight because there's always someone coming up behind you... unless you're camping/sniping from the house outside.
Killhouse- Doesn't get played
People seem to be posting how great they are, but when they come up in rotation they usually get voted to skip, in my experiences. Definitely not worth $10.
Before all you little kiddies who gets allowance from mommy and daddy jump on my case about how "OMGZ U R POOR $10 IS SO CHEEP!!" I know... $10 is not a lot of money. I can afford $10. I would not pay $10 for a pack of gum. Some things, like the map pack, are not worth even $10.
That said, if the majority have bought it, and you have not... you're going to have less people to play against in matchmaking, which means a higher chance of laggy matches. Then again, I have them and still get matched with bad hosts. Often.
I bought it and played on the new maps teh first few days a bit, but since then its been straight to Vegas 2 for my online action, as i enjoy it alot more then cod4.
Chinatown is really the only stand out map of the map pack imo. Creek is also pretty fun for headquarters and search and destroy
I kinda agree. I dont think theyre THAT crap. theyre ok but not really worth the 10bucks. they shouldve cost 400points imo. and I prefer the original maps over the new ones. theyre just better.I bought it. They're... ah hell they're pretty crap.

I bought a points card for both halo3 and Cod4 mappacks and I can honestly say that the halo3 maps are more worth the price.
