The flood were very fierce.....they would just keep coming, and coming, and coming, and coming, and coming somemore after that. then you'd have to melee the corpses so they wouldn't come back, and watching things become and infected and.....erm, *cough* using a flamethrower on them......it was quite fierce.....
aim for the little sensory tentacles and you'll be fine....
Man, it's crazy how they bring the dead back, and how much you have to melee them......and I never saw any flood grunts in Halo 3 come to think of it......heh, good thing the flood are gone now and no one will ever have to face them again!
