w@w over cod4 its so much easyer to hide and not be seen sniping is more realistic tanks can be dumb but fun for beginners its jsut deffintly got more options than the run around impossable to hide in maps of cod4 w@w ftw!
I'm tired of World War 2 storylines and weapons. COD4 set the new bar for 1st person war shooters, COD:WAW is a step backwards, and bores me when I play.
How many people use the "SEARCH" buton rather than start a thread that's been done a few dozen times before?

If this forum was a functional one, people would. Unfortunately, the majority of people here have no idea how a forum works, and they just start their own threads. As far as my opinion goes, I've always liked COD 4 better. I beta tested both, and even in the beta period I said "This isn't gonna be as good as 4." But it's a matter of opinion. I like the Modern Warfare a lot better. I've found that in COD:WaW, people just run around and spray with SMGs or LMGs, which isn't much fun. There's also the fact that COD:WaW has a few maps people can glitch and get under, and it still hasn't been fixed. No such thing in COD 4. In 4, there are some tougher spots to get in, but none of them are glitches.
COD WAW was voted for the most competitive mutiplayer of 2008, and i agree it was. The maps were extremely bigger in waw! I also liked waw story mode better aswell because it was less repetitive than cod4, however some people may disagree with that.
WAW FTW. Multiplayer is a ton better in skill needed. Yeah sure SMG's are slightly overpowered. I use a rifle have a positive K/D ratio. COD4 every gun was overpowered. Just a run and spray multiplayer.

Not very many, apparently. I prefer CoD 4 to WaW, but I say that because I've barely played WaW. My only experience with WaW was at a friend's house on PS3, and it was a private match on his small SDTV. So I hardly experienced much from the game. But from what I saw and played, it was quite good, but I don't have substantial reason to feel it's as good as/better than CoD 4. So until I fully experience WaW, CoD 4 is better to me.
Would it be ok if I said both?It depends on what I am feeling.I love history so I WW2 games are ok with me and even though I thought that COD4 could have been alittle better in areas[Especially singleplayer length]it was still a solid game.
