How many times you had to get a new 360, thinking of getting one ?

got a ps3 but want a xbox but some people i know bought a 360 6 time & worse & that sadd nobody should go through that so how u feel about Xbox360 overall?

If you are okay with your Multiplayer on PS3, there is really no need at the moment to get a 360.

Sent in first 2 then got a arcade one and slapped my hdd on it. Had this 360 for overa year now and haven't had any problems. 360 exclusives are deff worth it. I barely touch my ps3.

A say go for it dude! I have all the systems and its the one I play the most by far......dont stress about its problems Microsoft fixes them for free and it happens really quickly, if it happens it happens dont let it stop you from give and awesome console a go

A: I've had mine for a year now and I have not had any problems.

C: I've had mine for two years now without even the smallest problem.

1 Xbox sent in 2 and a half years

I've had my 360 for 3 1/2 years and not one problem with it, trust me once you get a 360 you mind aswell throw your PS3 out the window. I got the PS3 around the same time as the 360 and barely use it, plus the exclusives for xbox are better than PS3 imo.

I bought mine on 2006 and still no problem with it.

I'm pretty confident with my Arcade with the Jasper mobo. Got it last January and no problems so far expect one time I had to clear the cache.

I have mine 360 since 2006 (an old version without even HDMI) and so far i didnt have any problems with it. Good advice...let it lie horizontal cause in vertical position the it stands on ventilaton holes.Magik85

Meh. They're both worth owning. Having a blast with Uncharted 2 at the moment.

Although throwing your PS3 out the window is bit much you have a point. I have had my PS3 for almost two years bought one game for it and recently just got another game for it and every time I play it I get bored quickly and put the 360 back on. I have come to the conclusion I should just sell my PS3 and get a Blu-ray player.

I own two 360s, one of them had been repaired three times over three years the other one has had no problems. The one that has been repaired I bought in 01/06 so it was a couple months after launch. The one that hasn't been repaired is an arcade model.

I think people that worry about the 360 breaking are either making up excuses on why they don't want one or are just sad people that don't understand warranties. Microsoft offers a three year warranty on the 360 which is much better than what the Wii and PS3 have to offer. Also, from what it sounds like, Microsoft fixed the problem with the original 360.

I understand that people may not want to go through the hassle but it's not really a hassle sending it in for repairs and thats if it even happens. Fanboys make it out to be that the 360 is going to break when people in reality understand that it probably won't happen but if it does Microsoft will fix it, within three years free of charge.

I can't help feel bad for Sony though, it's just that no games interest me on playstation anymore. I had a blast with the PS2, PS3 not so much and I wanted it to come out so badback then:(

I had my xbox360 a year and then it got the red ring of death, i got it fixed for free and its been going ok so far.

I still like it alot. (i am on my 4th or 5th xbox360)

I have had 15+ dead 360s with a mix of RROD, E74 and dead DVD drives. The PS3 is built better and has more exclusives but XBL is better then PSN.

I have 2 360s. A launch Premium, and a launch Elite. The Premium went out once since the 360 launched, and that was around a year ago. The Elite? Never. And i put HUGE amounts of hours into my consoles.
