Probably less than 1 a day... I don't think even that every other day... Saying a 1000 dies a day means since 2005 over 1 million have failed which is stating that 5-6% of all the consoles SOLD (not refurbished and given back) have died... And I am 100% positive that the max that die a day is only 1.
Its alot more than 1 a day worldwide. I think 1000 would be about right a day though it is likely to decrease over time but problem is RROD is still a problem.
Yeah, it all depends on where it is stored and how often it is used, the power pack needs to be near free flowing air, because it's so huge, I wish it didn't take up so much space.
I have had 2 XB360s. My first one crapped out after a year and was not covered under warranty. Luckily, I got it working again and traded it in. When the Elite came out, I picked one up and it just died 11/28. I got it back 12/24. Out of everyone that I know that has a 360 and is on my friend's list, over 27 people have had problems/RROD with their systems. I have a NES from 1987 that still works, without the blowing trick. It's ridiculous that we are expected to purchase sub par productions for top prices. M$ is very cheap and even though they pushed the warranty on the consoles, it's still no excuse for it. As much as I hate to see companies like M$ take advantage of its loyal customers, I prefer the XB360 over the PS3. Halo 3 and other titles like Fable and Gears are too good to miss.
Well considering the fact that not everyone calls Microsoft right way the numbers wouldn't be accurate. Then there's thefts,breaking and not repairing,and people fixing it themself.

Mine seems to be freezing every once in a while so it might die but i don't care. I can wait two-three weeks to play i have more hobbies. I have no reason to worry about my xbox 360 i have a Wii for a reason.
