I said I wasn't goint to get Black Ops but did. The only reason I buy the games is because none of my friends play Battlefield.

I always rent them first and then buy it if i like it and i'm glad i do, saved $60 on the disaster that was World at War, and wasnt gonna get black ops because it was made by Treyarch and they usually suck with the COD franchise but I rented it and in my opinion it is the 2nd best COD to date right behind COD4.

At first, I rented Black Ops. I'm glad that I did, since the online was a mess (awful lag, sniping was basically non-existant, etc.). So sent it back. I bought it later for cheap, like a month ago, and thankfully they fixed most of the stuff (still get some laggy games, tho)

Call of Duty 2 I had the most fun with. So epic. Masterful single player, and in online you actually felt like you accomplished something when you killed someone. Infinity Ward made that one I believe.

Anyways, I bet you could pick it up for like $5 on ebay.I just don't know if it would stand the test of time...I sure hope it would. Veteran mode was challenging and engaging, but never felt cheap.
