I am only allowed alimit of 12gb of download, so i was wondering how much download does online games such as call of duty modern warfare take up and how long can i play for

12 Gig would let you play as much as you like for the whole month with plenty to spare.

you have no worries if you dont push ur download limit on other stuff. no one has legit stats as far as i know that tell you download and upload bandwidth use per hour of certain games. so ur best making sure no one uses more than half the limit on downloads and streaming videos/music and save the rest for games and surfing. as sometimes these limits bottom out quick when u think oh i only saved so much to my hard disk

General bandwidth from just playing should be fairly small, certainly in comparison to downloading files like DLC, demos and videos. On my old connection it was capped at 2GB per month and was still able to play as much as I wanted on Live. So with a 12GB cap you will be fine. Thankfully I am now with an ISP that removed the cap :)
