i've had my hdtv just before the announcement of the 360 so excluding the tv around $1500, with the tv around $3500.  but the 360 is one of the best systems i've ever had th pleasure of owning.  even tho it makes me poor...well...my gf makes me more poor than my 360 :P.  but they both are def worth it :)

I'd say about $500 for me at this point.  I got the premium this christmas.  I also looked for good deals so I've saved some cash.  $100 off the system, a daya where best buy not only had some sales going, but screwed up on the checkout and I got a free VGA cable.  Also talked the guy into tossing in a free "charge & play" kit when I got the system.  So I have 4 games on disk, about 8 live arcade titles, extra hardware, the premium system, shared extra gamepad to also use on my PC (of course now they release the PC wireless adapter, sheese) and a year of XBL for just about $500.  Not to shabby.  You would be suprised at what some of the stores will allow if you jsut ask.  Even with my $100 rebate on the system, MicroCenter still tossed in the charge & play.  Ask and ye shall recieve.  ^_^

I'd say somewhere between $1000 and 1500 for me right now.  But, my system just crashed and I'm out of warranty, so that's another 150 or so...  Plus, I did some smooth business transactions a while back and got $200 worth of stuff for $120, so that saved me some money.

Since I traded in my PS2 and my X-box and all my old games to get my 360 it only cost me about $75. So with games and everything I have maybe spent $500 in out of pocket expenses on my 360 and all of that was on games.

$2700...32 LCD, 7.1 Onkyo sound, 5.1 Tritton Headphones, 360 premium with HD-DVD player, 2 wireless controllers, misc games.

That actually hurt to type out. Better than another semester of college though.
