I don't own a 360 till Saturday and I have no way of telling if the game is too scratched or not I bought two games today for my future 360, Rainbow Six Vegas and GRAW GRAW was 5 bucks, best deal I've seen This disc is pre owned but it came in perfect condition with a 48 hour gold trial that the past owner didn't use I also got Rainbow Six Vegas The thing about this one was the guy at EB games said it had some scratches on it and it did. I looked on it and there was a few minor scratches and one that looked not too bad. It had a few scratches in other words but nothing deep just surface. Hard to see unless you look in the sun. The guy at EB games said they were minor and should work. I'm wondering if it will and if it's good to get pre owned games since they had no new versions. Are these minor scratches fine or should I return it?
The game is too scratched when it won't play anymore. Most used game stores have systems there that you can test games on if you're worried about it. It's usually not about the amount of scratches, it's the depth, you can have one game that's covered with light scratches that will play, and another with just one deep scratch that won't. Hope that helped.
I get pre owned games all the time, and they have always worked fine. I've also gotten some games with "minor" scratches and they've worked fine too. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
The best way to find out is to play it. BUT! If you really want to check it, see if there are any scratches that catch REALLY bad on your fingernail. Those are the bad scratches that cause problems.
usually the farther out on the disc the less they matter for me i think.tgh93_29
That makes no sense. theres as much information in the middle as there are further out, unless the disc is not full, but if that happens, the space os too short
It's probably fine. Doesn't EB have a guarantee that if a used game doesn't work they will exchange it for you? I think that's the case so don't worry.
