I have one of the old 20 GB Hard Drives, and it seems that the console itself takes up 5-7 GB with whatever, and I only use about 6 or 7 GB for my things. I'm looking forward to the new feature for copying games to the hard drive, but I'm not sure if my hard drive will control what and what I can't install. I have around 5 GB free of space. How much space do you think a single copied game would take up? If it is a good amount, then I'll probably have to install one at a time.

It would vary from game to game. But I would think an average would be around 6GB - 7GB.

This thread was reporting install sizes of between 5.9GB (Fallout 3) and 6.7GB (Gears of War 2)

For people with a 20GB harddrive it looks like we will only be able to have one game installed at once. Even empty it has only around 13.2GB of space. Then take the size of the NXE update (128mb), along with your gamertag, save games, any maps packs, DLC, arcade games etc. and you end up with enough space for 1 and a bit installs.

COD WaW (6.5GB) + Gears of War 2 (6.7GB) + NXE Update (128mb) will not fit on an empty 20GB harddrive :(

I've installed 3 games so far, GTAIV took the longest at 8 mins but the differences in loading times during gameplay more than make up for this. It also plays a hell of a lot smoother than off the disk

Has anyone installed Mass Effect yet and tried it out? I really want to know if that has improved with the update, mainly in load times and textures popping in

When I wanted to buy a 360, all the Premiums were out of stock. Only the Elites were left. Now, I'm really happy that I never saved my money for a Premium and bought the Elite instead.
