First off, the game looks great. I love side scrollers, as I grew up playing them....
Any predictions on how much Shadow Complex will cost? What's the average price of high quality XBL games?

Microsoft R&D:
" So, how much should we sell this Shadow Complex game for?"
" Well Jim, it is an arcade game, so I think that a good $10 would do fi-"
" But wait, this game looks intense, and very similiar to the original Metroid games."
" I know...but what does that have to do with price?"
" Well, how much did the original Metroid games sell for?"
" I...I'm not too sure, probably around $50 if you take the time exchange rate into play."
" Then we'll just add our arcade fee to Epic then, and so Shadow Complex will now cost $60 to play."
" Isn't that too expensive?"
" We'll just release it on a disc then to justify it and make up some PR crap."
" Genius."
I would guess $20 (1600 MS points). That's more expensive than typical arcade games, but it seems like it will be better and longer than typical arcade games. Castlevania: SotN was 1200 points, and that was a port of a game that had already been out for quite a while. Therefore, I think a similar game built from the ground up will be a little more.
The game does look good and quite high-budget, so I'm pretty sure it'll cost at least the usual 1200MP which Microsoft charge for 'premium' arcade titles like Braid, Castle Crashers and SSF2HD Remix.
I am worried though, that following the release of 1600MP content like GTA Lost & Damned, Microsoft will try and raise the pricing of Arcade titles. Call me cynical, but I was almost suprised when Sonic 3 was released for just 400MP the other day. I know all the other Sega titles went for the same, but I get the impression Microsoft will bump up prices on any potentially popular product (not caring if it makes them unpopular with consumers)...
$10-$15.
You don't need to bold your words I doubt anyone here has issues with reading. Also Lost and dammed was an expansion pack to GTA4, not an arcade game. If you want to talk expansion packs the one for Oblivion I believe released for $30 as a downloadable. The game does look good and quite high-budget, so I'm pretty sure it'll cost at least the usual 1200MP which Microsoft charge for 'premium' arcade titles like Braid, Castle Crashers and SSF2HD Remix.

Around $20, but I hope it's $15. I mean, I think they'd sell a lot more in the $10-15 area. It is a full 8-10 hour game with both 2D and 3D, and a pretty compelling story by Orson Scott Card, though.
3D sidescroller. Metroid/Casltevania style.Shadow Complex is an addon to what game? Or can someone give me an explanation of what it is?

Shooting, grenades, create cover, bosses, just watch some videos if you can.

Apologies for the bolding of words (stupid habit of mine), but I believe I said 'content like GTA Lost & Damned'? I never once claimed it was an Arcade game, so please don't talk down to me just because you haven't read my post properly... I am also well aware that Shivering Isles was released for 2400MP thanks.
P.S. That bold was just for fun
I was simply suggesting that Shadow Complex looks close enough in production quality to GTA4's DLC, that it might well sell for the same price, 1600MP. This price (though well worth it for the GTA DLC) is unsually high for Arcade titles and too much for the recent Watchmen game IMO. For me, 1600MP is definitely the top-end price I would pay for any DLC and if Shadow Complex is released for this amount, I hope it has enough depth to justify the high price-tag.
Just my thoughts though. No need to attack me if you don't agree with them!

Some of use can't read the bold. It's in white.
It will be 1200. There's also a promo MS is running that if you purchase all the "Summer of Arcade" games before 8/31, you'll get $10 in points back sometime in October.
Edit: Here's the link to the promo info.

I paid 800 as well. Fun game, though I can't get the achievement for complete exploration sadly.
If it wasn't for trials HD I'd go for this, but $15 seems like too much for that game. I saw some friends play the computer version of trials all the time incla ssbut I think the fact that we were in school and it was only 30-45 minutes a day made it a lot more enjoyable. Shadow Complex is probably a buy, and if I decide to get trials I'll get splosion man (I want splosionman, but if I decide against trials, I can wait until there is a deal on it)It will be 1200.
