How old is the 360?

It came out in 2005 did it? (Nov,21?, 2005, not to sure) So that means it is already like 3 years old, if so then are most console's life span around 5 to 7 years?

I just don't hope that Microsoft will pull the plug on the 360 just as fast as it did for the Big Black Box (RIP XBOX)

Many of the 360's heavy hitting titles are coming out this year, as well as in 2008. What do you people think? I hope 360 will still be going strong in 2010.
