Stop! Grammar time!

Why are you trying to connect the console to your PC? And have you looked at the support pages of Xbox.com to see if what you're attempting, or the reasons for attempting it, is even possible?

You need to be connected via Ethernet cable (networked) or Wi-Fi. You need Windows Media Player 11 installed on your computer with Media Sharing turned on.

Well aside from the absolute hilarious comment above. Plug your xbox360 into a router that is also connected to ur pc. Then install windows media connect. This should be all you need to do really.

You cannot transfer music, only stream it using WMP11, Zune or WMC. If you want it from the PC to 360 harddrive you would have to burn an audio CD and then rip it.

That isnt how it works with the 360. You set up Windows Media Connect to run on your PC and your 360 streams the music off of it while you play. The original X-box would allow you to rip tracks down to your hard drive but the 360 doesn't do it. Though in my opinion it'd be better if it did.

So how come I have about 10 albums ripped to my Xbox 360? Of course you can rip music on your Xbox 360! You just need the music on CD :)

No matter what program you have you can only stream from PC, not Rip. You can only rip from an Audio CD.
